PRESS RELEASE

The marks of our time
by Cynthia Penna

Signs of a passage: the individual and collective history that we contribute to forming with our passage.
Every human presence marks a passage, creates a mark that it leaves behind: the passage is never amorphous or useless: everything retraces our history and even the small individual stories contribute to forming the Great Collective History.
We leave footprints behind us that others are destined, willingly or unwillingly, to collect and retrace, reworked and revised.
What do we leave behind of our passage on the planet? What do we want posterity to remember about us? As a community or as an individual: what are we giving to history: what legacy are we leaving behind?
It is not just technology that we are leaving but rather a sign of the times from an intellectual, cultural, moral, emotional point of view... a look at the present that is projected towards the future.
A sense of precariousness, of instability, of solitude and at the same time a desire for connection, solidarity, empathy.
