Artist Statement – Urbanscape

Architecture is a living archive where history, culture, and craftsmanship converge. In my Urbanscape series, I explore the presence of historic structures—remnants of the past that continue to shape our present. From the ornate facades of Renaissance Italy to the weathered alleyways of centuries-old cities, these spaces tell stories of ambition, resilience, and artistry.

My work captures the interplay of light, form, and texture. Shadows on ancient stone, the rhythm of arches and columns, and the contrast between preservation and decay create a dialogue between past and present. These structures stand as testaments to time, inviting reflection on history’s impact.

Through abstraction and composition, I transform these spaces into contemplative studies, allowing viewers to experience the soul of build environments. My images reveal the beauty, complexity, and quiet strength of architecture
